Philosophy isn't just a matter of opinion. Some opinions are better justified, or more reasonable, than others. We should aim to hold those judgments that are best supported by reasons.

We are more often treacherous through weakness than through calculation!

Sometimes the questions are complicated and the answers are simple...!

There are some remedies worse than the disease!

Philosophy is a form of inquiry, not rhetoric or apologetics. One should be open to the possibility of changing one's mind, and - ideally - view opposing arguments as opportunities for learning, rather than threats to be dismissed at all costs.

Wars and elections are both too big and too small to matter in the long run. The daily work on the other hand, it adds up!

To learn something new, try taking the path that you took yesterday!

The aim of argument is not to convince others to your point of view regardless of its true merits, but rather to adduce rational evidence that the view is most likely correct!

With each forward step we take, we leave a small shadow of our former selves behind!!

The idea of objective truth is nothing to be scared of, and shouldn't lead to Arrogant assertion of ones opinions or beliefs. Just because the truth is out there, doesn't mean we have a perfect grasp of it!

There's always more to the truth than just the facts!

Those who take seriously the dictum 'live and let live' should understand tolerance to be an objective value. Otherwise,  bigot's aren't really doing anything wrong. They're merely going against your arbitrary liberal preferences.

The unfathomable we see eventually.  The completely obvious, it seems, can take a bit longer!!

      The obstacle is the path!!!!!

Moral facts are not reducible to the command of any authority. If God, society, and the individual, all approved of torturing animals for fun, that wouldn't suffice to make it right...!  This immediately negates all idiotic theories (like egoistic subjectivism) which reduce morality to an superficial subset of preferences.

Losing an illusion makes you wiser than finding a simple truth!!

The common belief in a connection between religion and morality is ranked stupidity. And the idea that God could assign you, your life's "meaning" is no less silly or ridiculous.

Among creatures born into chaos, a majority will imagine an order, a minority will question the order, and the rest will be pronounced insane...

Just because you find something to be"icky" doesn't mean it's immoral!

People always makes the assumption that the exposure of an error is identical with the discovery of the truth - that the error and truth are simply opposite.  They're nothing of the sort,  What the world turns to, when it is cured of one error, is usually just another error, and this time probably a worse one than  before...

You can't reason someone out of a position they didn't reason themselves into!!

We can provide unfrightening natural foundations for morality. Presumably facts about what harms or benefits someone. It's unquestioned that it's good to benefit people, bad to harm them, etc. Nothing especially mysterious or supernatural is happening there.

Sometimes it's essential to go a long distance out of the way in order to come back a short distance correctly...

Our greatest pretenses are built up not to hide the evil and the ugly in us, but our emptiness.  The hardest thing to hide is something that is not there...

If you just think you're free, there's no escape possible, you must know that you're free!!

Incidentally, sending honest non-believers to hell is evil. It's scary how many people display moral blindness with respect such a belief. Worshipping an evil deity reflects poorly on one's own moral boundaries, wouldn't you say.

Time... it does not move!  It never has and it never will!

Humans are the only being who enjoy the consolation of believing in the next life; all other beings simply enjoy the consolation of not worrying about it!

What deep wounds ever close without a scar...?

It's the scars you can't see that are the hardest to heal...!!
..interesting wouldn't you say >XD
